As Iggy Azalea’s infectious track “Fancy” is shaping up to become this summer’s biggest hit, that means we can look forward to a slew of hilarious parodies on the web! One such particular parody belongs to our friends over at The Girls With Glasses.
Summer Bellessa and Brooke White, the creative and witty masterminds behind The Girls With Glasses web-series are two very cool mommies with a fantastic sense of humor! The career women and young moms spill the truth on motherhood in a sweet fact-filled (and family-friendly) version of Azalea’s track—if Azalea herself, was a mom. As Bellessa and White best put it, “Motherhood never looked so funny, or messy, or gross, or wonderful.”
Directed by Kerry Bellessa and produced by Kevin Haaland, the parody music video titled “I’m Not Fancy” is a hilarious track with both girls singing, “I’m not fancy/Kids’ve made it so. Riding carpool/From Target to Costco.”
Accompanied by their adorable children, Bellessa and White are at the top of their game with this hilarious and honest take on being a mommy and everything the honor entails. The girls are true trendsetters with this video too—don’t let the minivan fool you. They are stylish and “fancy” in every possible way, sporting the latest trends for this season from the likes of Forever 21, Lulu*s and even, Target.
