Spring Openings

Hello Lovely Readers,

We hope all of you are well and enjoying your April thus far. Spring has arrived and is ardently painting everything around us in a fresh coat of color. As we enjoy the beauty and renewal such a season brings, I hope you have all been finding great pleasure in the content our team has been publishing. Last year, we met with great success and humbly received the honor of being Freshly Pressed, and a Recommended Blog (Magazine) in the WordPress directory. Since then, our team has made a commitment to continue the trend of thoughtful, unique articles on a diverse range of subjects. We thrive on good, healthy conversations and the affairs of our world because it brings broad understanding to a variety of things. Each of us here want to make The Hudsucker a place where you can feel inspired, while being reliable to you, our readers.

This past month we welcomed new writer, Claire Tierney to our team. Claire’s showcased great writing and fresh, astute ideas in her first two pieces. She has proven to be someone who isn’t afraid of pushing the envelope while upholding our online magazine’s values. As we head into a new month, we’re opening our doors to new writers. Are you interested in being a part of the next best online magazine?

This season, we are looking for four Staff Writers who must be committed to writing a minimum of two articles a month. If you are a dedicated, passionate writer, send your application to us. Our team of Editors is looking for friendly individuals who can be team players, are sociable and enthusiastic personalities with a sense of humor and are extremely pop culture savvy. Most of all, we are interested in bright minds who are able to create their own fingerprint with their writing.

While it’s known that The Hudsucker aims to create a smart and unique environment for readers, we are looking for writers who can connect with not just our readers, but the world around us. We know the modern reader is smart and with the amount of content out there already, we aspire to be relatable with words through our own experiences and passions. Not only does that key element engage readers, but we know it will make them feel less intimidated because we are relatable.

So if you think you’ve got a unique voice to contribute, apply today to be one of our social journalists! See our openings for further details on what is required in your application.

We hope to hear from you!

Cheers,

Tania Hussain
