World Nutella Day

Ladies and gentlemen, Friday is a very important day. It’s the 10th annual World Nutella Day, a day originally created by blogger Sara Rosso to celebrate the deliciousness of Nutella. Now officially adopted by Nutella’s parent company, Ferrero, World Nutella Day even has an official Nutella Ambassador. There’s only one way to truly celebrate World Nutella Day and that’s with food. Looking to expand your Nutella repertoire beyond simply slathering the hazelnut and chocolate goodness on bread? We’ve compiled for you some fantastic recipes that you can make to show your love for Nutella!

Nutella Black and White Cheesecake {via Food.com}
What’s better than cheesecake? Cheesecake layered with Nutella! This delicious desert is no-bake so it’s not only amazing but easy, too. The crust is chocolate cookie so this dish is really a combination of cheesecake and cookies, a true win-win.

Nutella Bread Pudding {via Food.com}
You say cheesecake isn’t your thing, but you have some day-old bread hanging around your kitchen? Nutella has your culinary back. This indulgent bread pudding makes good use brioche or challah to create a rich, warm comfort desert sure please. You can serve it warm and fresh with vanilla ice cream or the next morning for a sweet breakfast.

Salted Nutella Syrup {via The Faux Martha}
Nutella and baked goods go so well together, but what if you can’t do gluten? No worries! This salted Nutella syrup recipe opens up so many options. Try it on ice cream, drizzled over fruit, swirled into oatmeal, or (my favorite) on top of gluten free toaster waffles. There are limitless options for this syrup, but only if you can manage to not eat it with a spoon first.

Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Swirled Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts {via Half Baked Harvest}
Love Pop-Tarts? Love Pumpkin? Love Nutella? This recipe brings them all together and tops them with cinnamon sugar to create the ultimate elevated childhood favorite. They’re surprisingly easy to make and so delicious even kids will love them. Best part? They’re portable so they make a perfect busy morning breakfast. (If you don’t have the time or skills to make the dough from scratch you can also use pre-made pie dough sheets!)

Nutella Swirl Waffles {via A Beautiful Mess}
As mentioned with the syrup, Nutella and waffles are a match made in tasty heaven but you don’t have to stick to freezer waffles. Why not incorporate Nutella into homemade ones? You’ll be glad you did. You can even take your Nutella love to the next level by going ahead and adding that syrup on top. Nutella waffles drizzled with Nutella? Absolutely.

Sweet and Spicy Bacon Coated with Nutella {via bell’ alimento}
We know Nutella pairs well with sweet and desert-like dishes, but what about savory options? Look no further than Sweet and Spicy Bacon Coated with Nutella. Thick slices of bacon serves as the foundation for this somewhat savory dish, then add ice the bacon with warmed Nutella. Spicy bacon not your thing? Other varieties, such as apple wood smoked bacon, would be excellent as well.

Chilled Nutella Latte {via Belly Full}
Sometimes you want something sweet, but not to eat. This drink recipe satisfies that unique craving and gives you a nice caffeine buzz to boot. It’s a perfect afternoon pick me up, but it would even pair nicely with one of the pop-tarts above for an amazing breakfast experience.
