Ciara Gets The Ring

When it comes to professional football players, it’s usually them looking to land a ring. But this month, Russell Wilson was handing one off to a very special woman. Singer Ciara showed off a massive engagement ring to the camera in a video posted to Wilson’s Instagram account with the caption, “She said Yes!!!” The two have been linked since last April, but made their relationship public in July of 2015. Previously, Ciara was engaged to rapper Future (who is also the father of their 21-month-old son) before the two broke things off in August 2014. The gorgeous singer and mother later posted a sweet image of the special moment between her and Wilson to her own Instagram account. A rep for Ciara confirmed the exciting news to Us Weekly on March 11. Congrats to the gorgeous couple!

A Very Grande SNL

Season 41 of Saturday Night Live (SNL) has given audiences stellar shows with hosts like Amy Schumer, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and Larry David. But no episode left viewers talking more than Ariana Grande as she tried her hand at hosting. The “Dangerous Woman” songstress started the night off with a smashing song dedicated to Grande having her very own celebrity scandal. The hostess later moved the audience to tears (of joy) when she played Chloe, the young intern for Jay Z’s music streaming service, Tidal. When the company receives a power surge that causes various stations to fail, bosses look to Chloe to help save the day. This leads Grande to deliver spot-on impressions of singers such as Britney Spears, Shakira, and Celine Dion. The petite star also showcased a jaw-droppingly perfect impression of Hunger Games actress, Jennifer Lawrence. Despite it being her first hosting gig for the live parody show, we’re sure Grande will make another round as host in the future. So, don’t worry Arianators, we’re gonna be alright.

Zendaya Won’t Be Shamed

Can’t we all just get along? Earlier this month, comedian and writer Julie Klausner, creator of the Hulu series Difficult People, jumped on Twitter during the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards to express her feelings about a particular KCA recipient. In reference to Zendaya, a beautiful, slim actress and singer from the Disney Channel show KC Undercover, Klausner sent out a pointed tweet calling the singer a “thinspo model for your impressionable tweens.” After catching wind of the tweet, Zendaya, who has previously shared her thoughts on issues of cultural appropriation and positive body image, fired back tweeting, “Do you find this funny? I will write another paragraph to educate you as well [sic].” The comedian responded to the young role model by tweeting a simple, “Can’t wait.” Zendaya, who was recently named one of Hollywood’s new “it” girls by W Magazine, later expressed her desire for all women to appreciate their figures as they are writing, “Now…everyone go look in the mirror at their beautiful body, and love that s—t #thickgirlswinning #skinnygirlswinning #weallwinning.”

And Then There Was One

After weeks of watching Ben Higgins as ABC’s The Bachelor, viewers finally got to see who the Indiana native chose to be his one and only. The adorable Bachelor Ben created quite the conversation after telling both finalists, JoJo and Lauren, those three little words. That’s right, Higgins expressed his true feelings for both women by saying, “I love you.” After a nail-biting week of waiting to see who he would propose to, audiences everywhere were awarded with a touching and intimate proposal by Higgins to early fan-favorite, Lauren. Higgins proposed to the blonde beauty with the largest engagement ring in Bachelor history. The stunning Neil Lane creation is around 4.25 carats with nearly 240 smaller diamonds surrounding the stone. While the happy couple are planning their nuptials, runner-up, JoJo, is busy finding her own man to love. The brunette real estate developer was named the newest Bachelorette, and has already begun filming the upcoming season. Talk about your fairytale ending.

How Deep Is Tayvin’s Love?

After a year of rumors, adorable date nights, and Twitter arguments, Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift happily celebrated their first anniversary as a couple. The DJ/singer/songwriter duo first shared footage of their celebration via Harris’ Snapchat account. In the video, Harris is heard saying “one year” while showing off their “One Year Anniversary” cake. The video included a shot of Swift smiling for the camera, along with a caption saying, “1 year…that was easy.” Fans of the couple were thrilled to get a peak at their celebration, and were ecstatic to see the couple sharing beach vacation videos and photos on their Instagram accounts just a few days later. In the shots, the couple can be seen giving each other a sweet kiss, preparing to ride jet skis, and sultry shots of one another in their swim suits. We could only imagine having a relationship this perfect in our wildest dreams.
