With spring officially here and warmer days ahead, Starbucks is celebrating the excitement of a new season in more ways than one — and we couldn’t be more happy!
Starbucks has been our go-to for years and this season, they are stepping up their game with a plethora of menu items we cannot wait to get a hold of.
After announcing its limited-edition pastel cups featuring whimsical illustrations inside blank white circles for the blossoming season, the Seattle-based coffeehouse just released a plethora of delicious new menu items, teas and a cold brew that is sure to satisfy your coffee and snack addiction this summer.
In honor of a new season and thanks to their consumers’ evolving tastes, Starbucks said in a press release that they are expanding their menu with new food items guaranteed to fuel the warmer days ahead.
From a gluten-free breakfast sandwich to a vegan bagel, the beloved chain will also introduce their own Organic Avocado Spread, made with fresh, organic Hass avocados. Additionally, stores across the U.S. and Canada will also include decadent yogurt additions to their menu for those looking for a healthy, on-the-go breakfast.
As a company that prides itself on its refreshing line of beverages from coffee to tea, Starbucks also announced a new collection of Teavana beverages that will join their year-round menu.
The drinks include a Teavana Shaken Iced White Tea and Teavana Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte, along with the regional rollout of ready-to-drink Teavana Craft Iced Teas made available at all stores in the northeastern United States. In a groundbreaking announcement, Starbucks also said they would now only use Liquid Cane Sugar in all iced teas and tea lemonades, as the subtle flavors complement tea quite fittingly.
Earlier this February, Starbucks brought out two new limited time macchiato drinks inspired by the Spanish and Latin American drink, Horchata, that’s ideal for fluctuating weather. When the weather is cold, their new five-layer Coconut Mocha Macchiato does the trick, while their Iced Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato with espresso, almond milk, cinnamon dolce syrup and caramel is perfect for those sweaty, transitional days between spring and summer.

On Tuesday, the company presented their latest menu item that definitely takes the cake—and we cannot wait to get our hands on it!
Regretfully, not all of us can live on tropical beaches and drink out of coconuts on a Wednesday afternoon, but Starbucks hears that island call and is hooking up their fans with a delicious coconut alternative.
Starting Tuesday, April 4, the coffee chain will offer Toasted Coconut Cold Brew, which will be available in stores for a limited time. In a press release from the company, the inspiration behind its latest addition came from an unexpected source — jalao, a treat found commonly in the Dominican Republic, made with coconut shavings and honey.
“Joining Starbucks’ cold brew lineup, Toasted Coconut Cold Brew is serious tropical vacation vibes. It’s lightly sweetened with a new toasted coconut syrup and finished with a float of coconut milk, giving that beautiful marbling visual,” reads a statement from Starbucks.
If we might say so ourselves, the cold brew is the perfect drink to blend those coconut flavors, since it’s naturally a bit sweeter than traditional coffee.
