Red
This power color is the new black. Invoking strong emotions of love, passion, confidence, and anger, red is for those who dare to have their presence seen and felt. Make a bold statement by wearing this fiery hue from head-to-toe or by choosing a crimson accent color to pop out against a more neutral look.
Square Prints
It’s hip to be square in fall patterns such as houndstooth, checkered, gingham, and plaid. From boxy blazers to fitted skirts, square prints will give you a checkmate advantage when it comes your office style game.
Corduroy
Corduroys for fall is not exactly a revelation, but this seasonal classic has seen a revival with an assortment of colors tied to the fabric, including autumnal shades of burgundy and moss and vibrant hues of bright blue and canary yellow.
Space Race
Chanel’s Fall 2017 collection launched the Space Race in fashion, debuting out-of-this-world looks from intergalactic solar system prints and planets to rocket-shaped handbags. Embark on your own galaxy quest by incorporating space-age inspired trends such as metallics and star-studded accessories.

Disco Fever
Flashback to the dance floor of Studio 54 and the height of disco fever with the 70s-inspired looks of the fall. The runways glimmered, glistened, sparkled, and shined with glitter, sequins, and satin. Metallic silver and white boots are the footwear of the season and will add shimmer, style, and groove to your steps.
Retro Athleisure
Athletic wear and streetwear have seen a surge in popularity in recent years, and this season, 80s-inspired athleisure reigns supreme. Retro sports tracksuits with pops of bright colors will provide you with the look of being in shape and in style.
The Americana Frontier
There’s no place like home on the range of the American frontier. This is a statement that rang true on the western and country-influenced styles of the runways, with rugged all-American looks of patchwork, quilted patterns, leather vests, frayed fabrics, and denim suiting.
Maximalism
Whereas minimalism promotes the idea of ‘less is more,’ this season, the fashion world dares people to adopt the philosophy of ‘more is more.’ Throwing the requirement of outfit coordination out the door, maximalism invites the fashion forward to mix colors, prints, and layers without concern with matching every clothing and accessory piece together. Embrace being ‘so extra.’

Gothic Garden
You’ve never seen flowers this moody and broody. This season, romanticism has taken a dramatic and gothic twist with feminine florals, feathers, ribbons, and lace given a dark twist, along with deep velvets and Victorian high collars.
Let’s Get Political
In response to the current political climate, designers have taken to the runway to advocate for equality and freedom for all with politically-charged slogan shirts. As inspired by demonstrators and activists marching on the streets, issues of feminism and racism were greatly represented on the catwalk, furthering the movements of breaking the glass ceiling and breaking down the walls that divide people.
What trends are you looking forward to wearing this fall and winter?
