5 of the Best Starbucks Drinks You Need to Try This Spring

{Image Credit: Instagram / @starbuckscanada}

March might still be bringing about cold weather to much of the nation, but Starbucks is ensuring customers feel spring despite the chilly climate with its wide-range of beverages.

While the Seattle-based company is continuing to bless us with new drinks every few weeks, there are a few tried and tested favorites that simply epitomize the season. With spring on the horizon, the season brings with it a host of new flavors and classics sure to please — especially those of the berry category, which continue to embody what the season is all about.

Earlier this month, Canadian and European customers had a chance to try Starbucks’ latest concoction, the Blossoming Rose Tea Latte. But while it’s not available in the U.S. just yet, that doesn’t mean the beloved café doesn’t already host a menu of favorites appropriate for spring.

To get you ready and pumped with a shot of eagerness for the season, we share five Starbucks drinks you need to try, currently on their menu.

Teavana Peach Tea Tranquility

If the chilly weather is still getting you down, Starbucks’ Teavana teas are a must. One of the best teas that will warm you up to the core is the Teavana Peach Tea Tranquility. The caffeine-free herbal tea embodies spring fruits, including its feature ingredient peach which infuses light citrus and floral undertones.

The Pink Drink (Strawberry Acai Refresher)

Also known as the menu’s Strawberry Acai Refresher, the social media darling known as the Pink Drink transforms into the single best, refreshing sip of spring thanks to its sweet strawberry flavors accented by passion fruit and açaí notes. Best served with Starbucks’ signature creamy coconut milk in place of water that the Strawberry Acai Refresher often calls for, it’s a fruity, crisp beverage that embodies the very best of the season. Not to mention, it’s a beautiful shade of pink topped with real strawberry and makes for the perfect snapshot on Instagram.

Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème

From March to May, berries are in full bloom and no fruit is better tasting than strawberries. While “the Pink Drink” is an ideal spring beverage with its crisp flavors, for those looking to a fun treat that borders ice cream, order the Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino. With the fruit blended with milk and ice, topped with a swirl of whip cream, it is the ultimate dessert and is the crème of the seasonal crop!

Caramel Macchiato

If the weather is a bit too chilly for your liking or you’re looking for a sweet pre/post-Easter treat, the Caramel Macchiato is a drink that will satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you warm. Made with freshly steamed milk accented by a vanilla-flavored syrup, this hot beverage marked with espresso is topped with caramel drizzle for an oh-so-sweet finish.

Iced Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato

If you want a macchiato without the warmth, their iced versions are just as good and one that stands out this season is the Iced Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato. The Horchata-inspired macchiato is made with Starbucks’ bold Espresso Roast, creamy almond milk and sweet cinnamon dolce syrup. The sweet treat, perfect for those sweaty, transitional days between spring and summer, finishes its flavors with a signature caramel cross-hatch and a sprinkle of cinnamon dolce topping that creates a delightfully refreshing beverage.
