Last night’s episode picks up from last week’s. There are spoilers—abandon now if you hate spoilers. Anyway, Zoom has Barry and now he is hunting Harry, spreading his demand that citizens “bring him Wells” all over the city.

The episode opens up two years ago at night in an industrial building. A couple of bad guys have a man tied up and are dangling him over a vat of hot, bubbling tar. The bound guy has money that the thugs want and if he doesn’t give it up, they will drop him into the tar below.

As the episode opens with our hero narrating, Barry talks about the nature of running and how it plays out in his life: running to avoid things. While he is running Harry and Cisco are irritating each other in the lab with Harry being demanding about what Barry needs to do and Cisco just poking his buttons.

Last night’s episode opens with Barry and Patty happy. They are having a beautiful date (with the exception of some roses that caught fire due to Barry using his speed to get to the date).
