This summer has been such a whirlwind, and when I sat down to compile my vacation photo-blog, I couldn’t pick just one trip. I started the summer by living in Virginia, then driving all over the mid-Atlantic and Midwest, and ended up living in Tennessee.
First I drove up to Maryland and the DC area for a weekend of Pop Evil shows. Over the July 4 holiday, I headed up to Michigan and stopped off for a night in Ohio. A couple trips to Nashville to interview and move, and finally, a summer-ending family vacation to the Smoky Mountains.
My favorite mural in downtown Grand Rapids.
Maryland sunset while working a Pop Evil concert.
Enjoyed a beer and free concert one of the last nights in Charlottesville.
Exploring downtown Nashville.
With my best friend at a music trade show.
One last burger from my favorite restaurant in Charlottesville.
Saw my first Nashville show at Exit/In!
Enjoying the mountains in Gatlinburg, TN on vacation.
Wine tasting on the Rocky Top Wine Trail.
Sitting on the rocking chairs at Ole Smokey Moonshine.
The sunset off the patio one of the first nights in my new apartment.
I couldn’t possibly have fit one more thing in my trunk when I moved.
Ziplining and horseback riding on family vacation.
