Happy Halloween boys and ghouls! The season of horror is upon us, and some of the scariest stories came out of Hollywood this month. It’s time now for another edition of Entertainment Roundup!
Keeping Up With Kim
Earlier this month, E! reality star, Kim Kardashian West was robbed while in her Paris hotel room. The mother of two was robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry, many speculating her 20 carat engagement ring from husband Kanye West was also taken in the heist. Kardashian was bound and gagged inside her hotel room after the thieves demanded the concierge let them into the suite. It wasn’t until 3 am that the men left the suite, allowing Kardashian to call her body guard who was noticeably absent at the time. Soon after learning of his wife’s condition, West, who was performing in New York at the time, stopped his show mid-performance due to what was then explained as a “family emergency.”
Since the incident, Kardashian has kept a low profile, staying off of social media, and sticking close to friends and family. Khloé Kardashian made an appearance on Ellen earlier this month, and gave an update on her sister. She said, “I mean, she’s not doing that well. I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time.” While the investigation continues, we wish Kim and her family nothing but the best.
All He Does Is Win
Many know DJ Khaled as an entrepreneur, musician, and the King of Snapchat. So, it comes as no surprise to many fans that the producer took to his favorite social media platform to share live updates and videos of his fiancée giving birth to their son. Khaled shared videos and pictures Nicole Tuck in the delivery room, playing his music, and telling the world, “It’s go time.” After the 10 hour delivery, Khaled let fans know his baby boy had safely made it to the world, and would only share the sound of his newborn’s cries. Congrats to the happy couple!
Banks Vs. Crowe
Now this is a feud we did not see coming. This month, Academy Award winner Russell Crowe hosted a dinner party in his hotel suite in Australia. Azalea Banks, an Australian rapper, made an appearance at the event with rapper RZA, when things took a turn for the worse. Banks claims she made jokes about his upcoming horror film to one of the actors friends, resulting in a verbal altercation between the 25-year-old and the veteran actor.
Banks went on to accuse Crowe of calling her the N-word, spitting on her, and physically attempting to remove her from the hotel suite. Sources close to Crowe tell Us Weekly the allegations against the Les Miserables actor are completely false, and say he was doing his best to protect the guests at his party. Only time will tell how the rest unfolds.
Model Miranda Kerr has certainly had better months. Just a few weeks ago, a man hopped the fence at Kerr’s Malibu home where he was confronted by her security guard. The intruder then reportedly stabbed Kerr’s guard in the eye, before the guard retaliated by shooting him multiple times.
After police arrived, the intruder was airlifted to a local hospital, and is expected to recover from the incident. Kerr’s security guard is also expected to heal from the attack. Thankfully, neither Kerr nor her 5-year-old son Flynn were home at the time.
Gaga for Carpool Karaoke
Ending things on a much higher note, Lady Gaga joined Late Late Show host James Corden in October and left Super Bowl fans everywhere itching for February. Gaga made her debut appearance on the popular late night sketch “Carpool Karaoke,” singing some of her old favorites, and new tunes from her recently-released album Joanne including “A-Yo” and “Perfect Illusion.” Can’t wait for more Gaga? You’re in luck! The “Poker Face” singer is set to host the 2017 Super Bowl Half-Time show.
