Summer has officially ended, but that doesn’t mean your favorite celebrity news has to! We’ve broken down the biggest stories from the month of September, including a slew of new Hollywood babies, an award show that had to be seen, and much more. Let’s get to it!

For Kardashian fans, hearing news that one of the ladies is expecting a baby is news that’s almost too much to bear. But this month, fans got much more than they bargained for when it was discovered that not one, not two, but three Kardashian members will be welcoming beautiful babies to the world in 2018. News about Kim Kardashian expecting her third child with hubby and rapper Kanye West has been on-and-off for the past 6 months. But promos for the upcoming season for Keeping Up With The Kardashians shows Kim confirming she’s expecting her third child to her sister Khloe saying, “We’re having a baby!” But news fans probably weren’t expecting to hear any time soon, according to TMZ, younger Kardashian/Jenner, Kylie Jenner is expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott. The pair have been dating since April of 2017. While Jenner hasn’t confirmed the news herself, sources even went as far to tell TMZ that the couple is expecting a girl. And last but not least, fans were overjoyed to hear news that Khloe Kardashian is also expecting her first child with boyfriend of one year, Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson. Viewers have watched for years as Khloe has struggled with potential infertility issues. So, congratulations to all three couples and one big(ger) family!

Stephen Colbert took to hosting duties this year at the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards, and did not disappoint. The comedian brought tons of laughs with a hilarious opening monologue that even featured a seemingly calm Sean Spicer taking to the podium to announce the audience was the “largest to witness an Emmys-period.” The show had plenty of stand-out moments, like when Donald Glover made history as the first black star to win the Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. He also took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Other winners included Sterling K. Brown winning Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Nicole Kidman taking home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or a Television Movie, and Aziz Ansari and his writing partner Lena Waithe took home the award for Best Writing in a Comedy Series. Congrats to the winners and nominees!

Love him or hate him, Hugh Hefner was a an iconic presence in Hollywood. Hefner created a magazine known forever as Playboy in his Chicago apartment in 1953. The 91-year-old passed away on September 27, 2017 at The Playboy Mansion. A statement released from Playboy said, “Hugh M. Hefner, the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognizable American global brands in history, peacefully passed away today from natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.” May he rest in peace.

In other not-so-wonderful news, it was announced this month that Veep star, Julia Louis-Dreyfus has breast cancer. She took to her Twitter page to make the announcement, writing “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today I’m the one.” The Seinfeld alum continued on by saying, “The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal healthcare a reality.” We wish Julia and her family the best during this difficult time.

That does it for us this month! Make sure to stop by at the end of each month for another recap of what you may have missed. If you want to see more stories like these, follow us on Twitter and “like” us on Facebook!
