Valentine’s Day might not be a holiday for everyone, but Starbucks’ proves they care about all their customers “a latte,” thanks to their newest menu item that will be loved by the masses.
Feb. 14 might be dreaded for some, but Starbucks is helping take the edge off gift giving with its latest offering based on a popular chocolate. According to a press release from Starbucks, customers can revel in the season of love by trying out the Seattle-based coffee company’s Valentine’s themed drink that is inspired by chocolate covered cherries.
The new Cherry Mocha drink starts with hot espresso poured over a slightly sweet mocha sauce and candied cherry syrup. Blended with steamed milk, the drink is then topped with whipped cream, and finished with cocoa Valentine’s sprinkles.
Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the new offering and plenty of them are enjoying the flavors of the new drink, that are almost reminiscent of a chocolate-covered cherry you’d find in a box of chocolates.

But that’s not the only Valentine’s Day themed offering from Starbucks. There are also two sweet desserts offered to compliment your coffee, including a Confetti Hearts Cake Pop made with rich chocolate cake and coated with chocolatey icing, and a Heart Sugar Cookie that is a sugar cookie topped with white or pink chocolate coating and sprinkles.
