If you’re in dire need of some last-minute surprises or a sweet dessert to complement that extravagant gift for your significant other, family member, or friend, we share some of the best heart-shaped foods that’ll make for the ultimate treat.
Chick-fil-A: Who said Valentine’s treats had to be sweet? The chicken-based chain is proving that chicken nuggets are the new chocolate with its heart-shaped box of Chick-fil-A Nuggets, available in 30-piece and 10-piece.
Buca di Beppo: If you’re running short on time with cooking, Buca is offering lovers a “Valentine’s Classic Love Package” with a heart-shaped lasagna with a dine-in special, including salad and mini chocolate chip cannoli.
Einstein Bros. Bagels: Now through Wednesday, customers can get heart-shaped bagels available in chocolate chip, cranberry and plain.
Auntie Anne’s: Fans and Pretzel Perks Members of the popular pretzel chain can revel in a buy one, get one free offer on Valentine’s that finds customers indulging in its signature heart-shaped original or cinnamon sugar pretzels.
Boston’s Pizza and Sports Bar: Nothing says amoré more than heart-shaped pizzas and Boston’s heart-shaped pizzas are available through Wednesday, and every dollar from each pizza sold gets donated to No Kid Hungry.
Baskin Robbins: In anticipation of the big day, from now and all through Sunday, dessert fiends can get $2 off a heart-shaped Sweetheart Polar Pizza, or $3 off any ice cream cake purchase of $15 or more. Coupons available at the Baskin Robbins website.
Dairy Queen: They might be home to hot treats, cool eats, but this is the coolest of them all. In honor of love day, the new heart-shaped Dipped Strawberry Cupid Cake is available for those looking to really amp up Valentine’s. Made with chunks of Ghirardelli, it is the ultimate dessert.
Giordano’s Pizza: In keeping with the carb train that is really what Valentine’s is all about for some food lovers, the chain’s heart-shaped pizzas are available in restaurants through Sunday and available to be shipped nationwide.
Dunkin’ Donuts: As a perfect pairing with wine, doughnuts are a timeless classic and Dunkin’ is celebrating with multiple heart-shaped doughnuts, including Boston Dream, the Brownie Batter Crumble Donut, Vanilla Truffle Donut and jelly doughnuts called “Donut Be Jelly.”
Pizza Hut: As one of the biggest pizza chains in the world, it’s no secret that Pizza Hut celebrates with its signature one-topping heart-shaped pizza starting at $12.99, or a bundle that includes your choice of a brownie or chocolate chip cookie starts at $17.99. Best of all, it’s now available nationwide.
Krispy Kreme: The glazed doughnut masters might be good enough as round desserts satisfying your sweet tooth, but they are bringing back their signature Cookies & Kreme Heart, Pink Heart with strawberry icing and the Sprinkle Heart. Moreover, customers can get a free three-pack for every $10 spent on gift cards.
