He’s been there through the highs and lows of this show, the […]

Flight of the Pompadour: Celebrating 20 Years of Conan O’Brien!

“My favorite comedy is where nothing is achieved and there is no point.” – Conan O’Brien – Interesting words coming from late night talk show host, Conan O’Brien because there is a point—at least to the countless viewers around the world. Perhaps the gag is pointless, but the meaning behind it has never been.

The Simpsons Say Goodbye to Mrs. Krabappel with Chalkboard Gag

Sunday night’s episode of The Simpsons paid heartfelt tribute to actress, Marcia Wallace who passed away last weekend. Wallace, who is best known for playing Springfield Elementary teacher Edna Krabappel on the animated sitcom, may be the only teacher in television history to have the same student–Bart Simpson–for 24 years. While she gives the delinquent lines to […]

BOLO Issued for “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”

May sound odd to say, but I’m all about cops. I love them! I have since I was a wee one. I was the kid who grew up watching the funny side of cops through films like Police Academy, The Naked Gun, and—not proud to mention it (because I can quote certain scenes)–Kindergarten Cop. I was […]

How Will ‘Breaking Bad’ End?

They are images that will be ingrained in modern television history: A Southwestern desert. RV. A frightened middle-aged man sporting glasses, a green collared shirt, no pants, and a gun pointing towards the camera. In the course of five years, the desert remained a prominent setting as the RV became obsolete. But most startling—yet thrilling—is […]

Switched at Birth: Redemption

As much constructive criticism as I may have given Switched at  Birth in the episode before the finale, I must say that the finale made up for all that and more. This wrap-up of Season 2 was both dramatic, alluring, sentimental and still left you with cliff hangers for Season 3. It was remarkably beautiful.

Switched at Birth: Too Much Drama

There is only one word to describe this week’s episode of Switched at Birth: drama. While that is an obvious term to describe a drama television show, I use this term literally for this week’s episode. In fact, I believe that this episode had too much drama.
