Maureen Van Zandt: Making a Difference, One Charity at a Time

On May 4, Maureen Van Zandt and her husband Steven of the legendary E Street Band will join former “American Idol” winner David Cook at a charity dinner party in New York City. With hopes to raise awareness and bring attention to brain cancer and tumor research, the three of them created a dinner auction this past March with all proceeds benefiting David Cook’s Team for a Cure in The Race for Hope DC event helping to generate further funding for ABC2 and The National Tumor Society. It’s an event Van Zandt is most excited about and extremely supportive of.

‘Buy a Lady a Drink’: Turning Beer into Clean Water

Water.org in partnership with Belgian beer company, Stella Artois have launched their latest campaign ‘Buy a Lady a Drink’, focusing on the long and harrowing treks women around the world make in order to find clean water. In an effort to drive forth awareness on the global water crisis and help provide successful results, the campaign aims to put a stop to these water-collecting journeys, so “women can start new journeys of their own.”

U2 Debuts ‘Invisible’ During Super Bowl XLVIII for (RED) Campaign
