While the importance of being friends with your co-workers may matter more depending on the type of job you have, if you work […]

Sex, Lies and the Royal Court: Charlie Carrick Talks ‘Reign’

The CW’s Reign may not exactly be a beacon of historical accuracy, with its prom-esque costumes and modern-named ladies in waiting, but TV audiences aren’t too upset by that fact. The show, based on the life of Mary Queen of Scots, has a fiercely loyal fanbase that is utterly devoted to its stories and characters. Reign fights every […]

Fly Like a Girl: ‘Supergirl’ – Episode 4 ‘Livewire’

Our episode opens with some DEO guards escorting an alien. It’s humanoid, but has some freaky features. The guards have the alien in chains, which I’m not sure makes sense because every alien we’ve seen so far is crazy strong and oh look, said alien breaks out of the chains.

Fly Like a Girl: ‘Supergirl’ – Episode 3 ‘Fight or Flight’

So about that interview. It’s a pretty lackluster interview which I think is a weakness of the episode here. The show is definitely improving with its writing and acting, but it’s not quite smooth yet.
