Looking for new artists to add to your Spotify playlists? We’ve got you covered! In this Artist Spotlight roundup, we feature a few up-and-coming independent musicians in Americana, bluesy pop-rock, and electropop that you’ll be hearing more from this year and beyond. Meet RIVVRS, Veronica Bianqui and Halo Circus.

RIVVRS by David Cano
Americana singer-songwriter RIVVRS is one to watch. In fact, you may have already heard of him, as his original songs have been featured on over 30 television shows, including Riverdale, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, and Reign. With the forthcoming release of his next full-length album, Cosmic Dreams this March, RIVVRS is gearing up for a new and exciting era. After releasing the record’s first single, the deep and vulnerable “Don’t Give Up On Me,” he’s following up with “Don’t Wanna Know,” an alternative rock number with grit, passion, and a hint of mystery, making for a compelling second single. RIVVRS’ signature earnest, raspy vocals are amplified by the electrifying blend of guitar, percussion, and horns instrumentation. The rawness and authenticity of his music is truly refreshing.
“Don’t Wanna Know” is available to stream February 9. Connect with RIVVRS on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. See him at BottleRock Napa Valley this May.

Veronica Bianqui by Ceethreedom
Flower power is in full force with Veronica Bianqui, a truly unique artist who imparts an unforgettable brand of pop-rock with a vintage vibe. Following her upbeat and uplifting song “Victim,” her latest single from the retro-inspired songbird’s upcoming record (due out this year) is the rootsy, bluesy-pop track “Sunday Cups.” With clever and playful wordplay, a hypnotic drum beat, and Bianqui’s mesmerizing vocals, the groovy and sax-y “Sunday Cups” showcases her undeniable vocal and writing talents, and is sure to be listened to during all days of the week.

Halo Circus by Michael Becker
Formerly an alt-rock band, in this iteration of their collaborative music project, Halo Circus has evolved into an electropop duo (consisting of American Idol‘s Allison Iraheta and Matthew Hager), infusing their natural rock flair with killer synch beats. Introducing this sonic shift is “Narcissist,” the lead single off of their forthcoming album, Robots & Wranglers, due out on March 16. Fearless and in your face both lyrically and musically, the energetic electronic track is a commentary on society’s immersion in their digital screens. This new fun and bold approach is sure to make Halo Circus stand out both on record and on the road.
“Narcissist” is available to stream now. Connect with Halo Circus on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Preorder Robots & Wranglers at halocircus.com. For US tour dates, visit bandsintown.com
