Hello, pretty people (aka all of you!)  Last week I helped you make sense of the sea of alphabet creams that are on the market by talking about BB cream, what it is and what it isn’t.  I hope that helped you make a little sense of things.  This week I’m back to decode CC […]

How Will ‘Breaking Bad’ End?

They are images that will be ingrained in modern television history: A Southwestern desert. RV. A frightened middle-aged man sporting glasses, a green collared shirt, no pants, and a gun pointing towards the camera. In the course of five years, the desert remained a prominent setting as the RV became obsolete. But most startling—yet thrilling—is […]

Tattoos Are More Than Just Ink

For me, tattoos are the ultimate way of transcending feelings I’m only able to explain with worn out words or tiresome actions, which are personal dilemmas. Aside from having to create an already tailored first-impression at specific job, other people’s opinions about the art on my skin never cross my mind.

The Spectacular, “Spectacular Now”

On shelves dominated by paranormal romances, dystopian adventures, aliens, werewolves, and superpowers, The Spectacular Now is one Young Adult novel stripped down to the reality of a teen boy growing up in a familiar world. Switched at Birth: Redemption

As much constructive criticism as I may have given Switched at  Birth in the episode before the finale, I must say that the finale made up for all that and more. Idol Winner, DeWyze, Re- “Frames” Himself.

I talked a lot about the “white guy with guitar” streak during my Idol series this past season and how the producers were determined to break it – an effort I can understand after five male winners in a row, but with the success of Phillip Phillips and David Cook, there’s an obvious underlining message […]
