Layne Weitzel
Contributor from Feb. 2013 – June 2013
Residing in Gainesville, Florida, Layne Weitzel studies at Santa Fe College, where she also works part-time as a communications assistant. Because of numerous factors, including cheering on the Florida Gators in all sports (especially baseball – her dad is an assistant coach), interacting with and watching collegiate and professional athletes (Tim Tebow is her favorite) and playing three sports throughout her life (cross country, soccer and lacrosse), Layne is an aspiring sports journalist (in print, of course). She is a proud supporter and advocate of the March of Dimes, which works to eliminate prematurity and birth defects in babies. She enjoys watching too much TV, inhaling popcorn and Trader Joe’s cookie butter, laughing at things that aren’t that funny and denying constant requests to straighten her hair, among countless other things.

Contributor from June 2012 – Sept. 2012
Liam Cassidy is finishing his bachelor’s degree in English, procrastinating on a project, reading all manner of novels and articles, doing other writing, or playing copious amounts of games. Yes, many many games. From BattleTech to Skyrim to Dungeons & Dragons, games are a big part of Liam’s hobbies. Outside of that, Liam enjoys watching the Food Network, sucking down coffee, and considering inane little elements of his life. Currently he is working his way through the Ciaphas Cain series, written by Sandy Mitchel, and warily eying a stack of other books that are clamoring for his attention. Armed with a tenuous grasp on reality and a wry wit, the aim of the game is to entertain.
